After celebrating their 9th anniversary in October, the legendary Tbilisi club is kicking off its 10th year with a tour in various cities across the globe, with crews & clubs they have grown with over the years and are built on the same values and ideals.

Throughout their existence, Bassiani has continuously had a strong commitment to inclusivity and diversity and has grown to be a symbol of resistance against conservative and oppressive forces in Georgia, by using its platform to address social and political issues.

It is with the greatest pleasure and relief that we can finally announce the next Fast Forward Rave after more than 1,5 years in hibernation, and welcome you back at VOLUME!

Last fall was supposed to be our big 5th-year celebration, instead, we aged a year that felt like 10, along with the rest of you and we promise to bring our A-game for this belter of a party!

We felt blessed back in March 2020 that we were able to have one final dance just 3 days before the whole country went into full lockdown.
The last 18 months have most certainly been both mental and physical exhaustion for everybody around the globe, and we know many are still struggling to recover, artists, promoters, nightlife workers, as well as everyone else - both financially and mentally.
While most of the cultural sector has benefited from governmental relief packages, the alternative nightlife has been grossly overlooked, and it shows now more than ever, that it is time to change the narrative, and we start to acknowledge the socio-economic benefits that these safe havens contribute with to this city before they are completely gentrified away.

Since 2019 together with other like-minded crews from Copenhagen, we have been aiming to do this through the promoter organisation København Frie Promotere (www.k-f-p.dk).
We urge all promoters with the same mindset for a more inclusive nightlife to get involved and help to create better conditions for the next generation of revellers, clubs and organisers.

The future is here and its indeed looking grim. The planet is decaying faster than we realise, and xenophobia, political bigotry, fear and apathy in the population is spreading as the capitalist systems around the globe continue their scourge of the earth.

Strøm Opening Concert: Fast Forward
Fast Forward Productions and Strøm invite to a double live set concert with two of Denmark’s most current and interesting electronic musicians at the small and intimate setting of Riddersalen’s wooden walls. Repro runs the Copenhagen-based label Euromantic, is one half of Funeral Future and has played a central role in carving out and strengthening Copenhagen’s techno sound. Rune Bagge is one of Copenhagen’s sharpest techno-producers - after his debut-EP, Ingen Tak Til Systemet, he released several tracks that vary in pace and composition, but all have a certain blend of melancholy and darkness in common. Fast Forward has a strong focus on inclusion and anti-discrimination and over the past years manifested themselves as one of the most progressive party-crews and agencies in Copenhagen.

For the 13th consecutive year Copenhagen and Frederiksberg will be full of electronic music during Strøm Festival. Strøm Festival takes on a variety of urban spaces from dark nightclubs to open and public spaces, from monumental churches to moving transportation.

Safer space by Club Mafia

In recent years governments all over Europe have lurched to the right, not least here in Denmark. Amongst a long list of new racist and xenophobic legislation – and as the neo-fascist Rasmus Paludan establishes his new party and is given government-funded protection for year-long hate-speach tours in areas with large Muslim populations – the Danish government is running several incarceration camps to hold rejected refugees. Living conditions in the camps are inhumane, children in them are being denied access to education, and according to humanitarian organisations many of the people held in them are showing signs of severe and increasing distress and mental illness.

Fighting against this shameful injustice is a growing movement called Together WE PUSH, which is dedicated to buying and delivering high-quality food and other necessities to the incarcerated families at the SJÆLSMARK camp, as well as organising events for the children there. Together We Push is comprised of a massive network of volunteers and is able to operate thanks to financial contributions from private citizens, support parties and fundraising initiatives.
